A Maze Garden Bed as the Centerpiece
This 30' × 30' Garden Plan is built around a large Maze garden bed that creates the main focal point of the space. Two long raised beds complete the layout, providing additional growing space while keeping the overall garden open and easy to navigate.
The Maze uses its turns and open interior areas to create a substantial amount of growing space within one connected garden bed. Its shape also creates natural walkways that allow the gardener to reach the different sections of the bed without having to reach across a wide planting area.
Below the Maze, two long straight raised beds provide large uninterrupted planting areas. The contrast between the shaped bed and the simple rows gives the garden visual interest while keeping the layout practical.
Wide walkways separate the Maze from the long rows, leaving plenty of room to move between the different growing areas. This arrangement also allows the Maze to stand on its own visually rather than crowding the entire 30' × 30' space with beds.
The Garden Plan is shown on a 1-ft grid so the size of the Maze, long rows and surrounding walkways can be clearly seen before the garden is built.
